Second Homeowners Selectmen's Meeting
I was out of town last Saturday, when a selectmen's meeting was held primarily to let second homeowners vent. I've heard there was a lot of venting. If you were there, why not post a comment with your viewpoint.
News about Egremont and what's going on there, with a particular focus on local government activities. Your comments on postings are strongly encouraged. This blog is intended to be a forum for ideas and thoughts from everyone.

What have you heard about the venting? Do second home owners actually know about blog?
I'm very interested in hearing about the meeting as I was out of town as well.
There was a lot of venting about the alleged "right" to speak at town meetings. It was often described as a "right" even though the courts have firmly held that nonvoters do not have any such right. Then there were the usual complaints about whatever irked the speaker. You'll have to await the minutes of the meeting, or other comments posted here, to get more of the flavor.
I know that many second homeowners read this blog. Exactly how many, I don't know. Spread the word.
