I delivered the following letter to town hall today:

Board of Selectmen
Town of Egremont
Route 71
Egremont, MA 01230
Dear Madam:
Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, I hereby request a copy of any and all reports, correspondence and other written materials exchanged with the consultant or investigator retained to report on the Egremont police department, including without limitation a report (including all draft or preliminary reports) apparently provided to the town (or the board of selectmen or other town employee or agency) by an individual or entity known by or containing the name Pomeroy.
